CB Lanzarote Puerto del Carmen recovered from the defeat suffered last week, adding the third victory of the season on Saturday afternoon, which allows them not to lose sight of the teams that occupy the first places in the standings. Las Tiñoseras did not have a good start to the match, although as the minutes passed they began to find their best version. The defensive intensity and the effectiveness when it came to completing the counterattacks were some of the keys to the victory of the girls trained by Miguel Ángel Lemes.
The first minutes of the match were dominated by AD Carballal. The Galicians put the 0-3 on the scoreboard in the first four minutes of the match. CB Lanzarote Puerto del Carmen did not lose its cool, with Keyla Hernández and Mari Sánchez being in charge of putting the first goals on the locals' scoreboard.
The match entered a phase of exchange of goals, with AD Carballal maintaining the initiative with a one or two goal lead. After passing the halfway point of the first half, Luci Betancort scored to put Puerto del Carmen ahead on the scoreboard for the first time, and Mari Sánchez completed a 3-0 partial, forcing the visiting coach to request a time-out (11-9).

The second half began with a 5-1 partial in favor of CB Lanzarote Puerto del Carmen, with the AD Carballal coach requesting a new time-out when barely three minutes had been played (20-15)
The locals increased their defensive intensity, stealing balls in the opponent's circulation and setting up quick counterattacks. The maximum difference in this second half was 11 goals, a lead that was reached in the middle of the period (31-20)
