Important day for UD Lanzarote this weekend, visiting UD Villa de Santa Brígida on Saturday at noon and with the need to get a positive result to continue with options in the fight for direct promotion. The "rojillos" played a great game, especially in the first half, and ended up defeating their rival by 1 to 2 to move up to third position.
From the beginning of the match, UD Lanzarote was more intense than its rival on the field, and as a result, they took the lead in the 24th minute of the first half. A cross from Dani Febles from the left wing was touched back by Canillas at the far post, and Ismael Traoré connected a volley to beat goalkeeper Jonay.
