The Arrecife City Council publishes this Wednesday, October 29, the call for sports subsidies to support the activity and work of clubs, and athletes who stand out in competitions. This new call for sports subsidies, endowed with half a million euros, will be processed with the application of the new bases and ordinances to give more security and agility to the clubs in their justifications.
The Municipal Government of Arrecife has, in recent months, carried out the regulatory modification in plenary session to articulate the bases and ordinances to the new reality of the clubs to access official aid.
The Department of Sports, led by the PP spokesperson, Eli Merino, has worked in a coordinated manner on drafting the regulations, public display, and final approval, which took place earlier this October, with its publication in the BOP and entry into force. With these new regulations, the City Council is publishing the call for sports subsidies for the current year of 2025, sports season 2024/2025. The current governing group took office in July 2023. That previous call, which was governed by the previous regulations, covered the sports season 2023/2024.
Eli Merino highlighted that, from now on, "the Department of Sports has more up-to-date regulations that will allow clubs and athletes to process their subsidies more quickly, being able to carry out the required justifications, also in a more precise way, in competitive concurrence."
