Football fields are unfortunately once again the scene of a new altercation. This time it occurred last Saturday, November 25, at the Francisco Bermúdez Hernández 'Pancho' municipal football field in Tías.
Around 8:00 p.m., at the end of the match between Sporting Tías and P.D.C football, the players from both youth teams got into a fight on the field.
According to the referee in the match report, one of the members of P.D.C attacked another player from the Tías team. At that moment, the referee tried to prevent the attack, but the aggressor continued to insist and look for the victim, causing the public to jump onto the field and invade the playing area. In addition, the field delegate from Tías had to intervene to prevent the fight from escalating.
After the altercation, no injuries were reported to the players or any members of the two teams, nor to any of the attendees at the match.
