The San José Obrero Handball Club is in the midst of restructuring its technical organization, aiming to form a reliable technical team for its two main national-level squads. Following recent events, Alfredo Rodríguez takes over the club's sporting direction and will be responsible for leading the change process within the sports structure of the Titerroy neighborhood club.

Alfredo Rodríguez, with an extensive career in Spanish handball, joined CB San José Obrero last summer, after concluding his season and a half at the helm of Motivemarket.com Gijón in the Liga Guerreras Iberdrola. With over 35 years of experience, in Spain he has managed teams such as Jofemesa Oviedo Balonmano, Bruesa Emua, Almuñecar, Granada, Real Grupo de Cultura Covadonda, Ciudad Narancoy, and Balonmano Gijón, and he is currently the coach of the Italian women's national team.

The Asturian coach takes over the sports management of Club Balonmano San José Obrero, and since Monday he has already been working on all the challenges ahead. In the short term, the main objective is to assemble a reliable technical team to lead the club's main teams, which currently compete in the national category. The arrival of Alfredo Rodríguez to sports management is with an eye on the medium and long term, consolidating the sports project.

As announced last Thursday, following the resignation of Jesús Rodríguez as coach of Balonmano Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife, the sporting management of San José Obrero, led by Alfredo Rodríguez, is taking temporary charge of the team until the end of the current season. The Asturian coach led the first training session on Monday night and began preparing for Saturday's match against "Sermarther" Ciudad de Tacoronte
