Committing crimes is wrong.
Be it here or anywhere else.
But just as we strongly criticize those who lump all men into the category of "machistas", we should not lump all immigrants into the bag of "criminals" either.
It would be neither fair nor real.
I know we are about headlines, about putting everyone in the same bag to justify great post-truths.
It sweetens our ears to take for granted information that we receive at all hours to believe we have knowledge to defend.
But the truth is always more complex.
Blaming others for bad situations is our specialty.
But things usually have another reading beyond a sensational headline.
It is clear that this chaotic situation has not been managed well, that is undeniable and must be said.
The abandonment of the Canary Islands and the lack of resources for an effective redistribution of immigration is not understood.
Just as it is not understood how the unfortunate people who come to our beloved land to commit crimes are not returned hot to their countries of origin.
That would be common sense.
No one in their right mind who is really looking for a new opportunity and goes to another country would think of entering on the wrong foot and risking staying in the supposed paradise they believe they are reaching.
But irrational attitudes are not usually committed by the majority, they are usually the minorities that make a lot of noise. That's right.
But we must be sensible even if it costs us, and put common sense to the arguments.
Emigration is a universal right.
Neither right nor left.
It is common sense.
Delinquency is a crime.
Also universal.
And judging the innocent is worse than committing a crime.
That is also universal.
Now everything catches us by surprise because, added to the current situation we have (semi-confined, economy down, Covid up), the overflow of retained migratory flow is added and this is chaotic, but gentlemen this is not new... Morocco has been blackmailing Europe for a long time. They play with human lives so that Europe releases the money and that is how Morocco slows down from the origin.
Dirty game where they exist.
