The mayor of Yaiza, Óscar Noda, has signed this Friday the contract of "63,000 euros" by which the company 'Networking Global New Process Arquitectos' undertakes to draft the execution project, works management and all the technical specifications that proceed so that the city council launches a public tender for the construction of the new library and socio-cultural center of Playa Blanca, a two-story building with a usable area of 970 square meters, in the area of Montaña Roja, which the Institution proposes in its basic project to be taken into account now by the firm in charge of the final design.
The Institution determines the rooms typical of a library with a multimedia room, auditorium, administrative area, meeting space, multipurpose room, warehouses and storage rooms. The library is projected in the surroundings of the school and the CEO Playa Blanca on a plot compatible with the use established in the 'Yaiza Supplementary General Planning Plan'.
Noda has highlighted that “in the municipal guidelines we are committed to the socio-cultural use of outdoor areas as a complement to the main uses of the building and we demand a highly energy-efficient installation to save consumption and care for environmental resources”. The project "is called to include the works and installations necessary for the correct functioning of the dependency, in addition to the actions required by the Administration".
