The recently created party Yaiza Siempre (YAS) has emerged from the "discontent" with the management of Unidos Por Yaiza (UPY) and with the aim of "recovering its project".
This was explained to La Voz by its president, Luis Ureta, who detailed that both he and his colleagues saw that "such a beautiful and well-presented project", such as the one UPY had in its beginnings, "was deviating from its path", so they decided to create this formation.
"It is in line with the ideals that UPY has promoted, but doing things right", Ureta added.
To the elections "with desire and possibilities"
Regarding the rumors of the possible integration into this new group of the politicians Jonathan Lemes, Lorenzo Tavío, Gladys Acuña, Ureta has indicated that "meetings have been held with the three of them", and it is YAS's intention that they be part of it, although "nothing has been decided yet".
However, he has advanced that there are "quite a few people who are moving from UPY because they do not agree with many issues".
The president, for his part, had never participated in politics before, but he recognizes that he had always been a voter of the aforementioned party: "I wanted to create a place to bring together all the dissatisfied people so that we could work in the right direction".
Although he knows that in the other group "they have not liked" its creation, the new formation is focused on "doing things right", so, with a view to May, "in addition to desire, we see ourselves with possibilities", the party leader predicted, based on conversations held with the Yaisera population.
