Unidos por Yaiza (UPY) informs through its Secretariat that Óscar Manuel Noda González registered his candidacy for the presidency of the party last Friday endorsed by the signature of 111 members, thus the current mayor of Yaiza becomes the sole candidate to lead the political formation of municipal origin since the deadline for registration of candidacies expired on November 25.
The candidacy of the list headed by Noda was presented by the aspirant through a writing before the Organizing Committee of the II Extraordinary General Congress of Unidos por Yaiza that will be held next Saturday, December 3 at 10:00 am, in first call, at the Natura Palace hotel in Playa Blanca. The Congress Regulations establish that the candidacies must be supported by a minimum of 15 endorsements.
Among the endorsements delivered are those of 6 UPY councilors in the capital's consistory.
