At the request of the Yaiza City Council, the Lanzarote Cabildo approved the withdrawal of the declaration of special tourist zone hours, in force since 2014, which in practice restores the opening and closing hours of leisure establishments specified in the Decree approving the regulations for classified activities and public shows.

The Consistory indicates that it intends to "promote citizen tranquility and improve the environment of coexistence" by adopting several measures, including the commissioning of a detailed study on noise measurements in leisure areas of Playa Blanca "in order to exercise greater control over emissions".

The Official Gazette of the Province of this Monday, August 26, published the announcement of the Island Council on the withdrawal of said declaration, stating that there were no allegations during the public exposure period and that therefore the agreement is final.
