The Yaiza City Council presented last Thursday the three awards to the best Christmas shop windows to Floristería Los Dolores, Floristería Yani and Perfumería Sam, in the tourist town of Playa Blanca. The three received vouchers of 400, 300 and 200 euros, respectively.
Thus, the presentation of the gifts coincided with the start of the sales promotion campaign in local shops Hello Christmas, which raffles a trip to Galicia for two people for purchases of ten euros or more in the 55 participating businesses until January 5.
Daniel Medina, Councilor for Tourism and Commerce of Yaiza, encourages residents and tourists "to value the offer and customer service of local businesses in our open commercial areas, thus satisfying their shopping demands with the additional attraction of being able to win the trip to Galicia."
The 'Hello Christmas' campaign, which has the collaboration of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, is accompanied by recreational and artistic activities that in its first days have been enjoyed by families visiting the central Limones street. The councilor Aroa Revelo Betancort stresses the importance of this type of events that boost the economy by giving greater visibility to local commerce.
All purchases over 10 euros made in participating stores will be eligible to enter the draw for a trip to Galicia for two people to be held on Tuesday, January 9. Consumers who wish to participate only have to scan the QR code that appears on the campaign posters or access the website www.comercioyaiza.com, where they can fill out the form and upload a photo of the purchase ticket or invoice.
The campaign is equally attractive for businesses in the municipality, the proof is that 55 businesses from Puerto Calero and Playa Blanca are participating in food, restaurants, food and other products for animals, bazaars, parapharmacy, hardware stores, textiles, florists, gas station, photography, gym, jewelry, bookstore, optician, hairdressing and aesthetics, and leisure and free time.
