The Education and Culture area of the Cabildo of Lanzarote has begun the installation work of the sculpture that will serve to honor the Lanzarote sculptor Pancho Lasso (1904-1973), and whose large-scale reproduction is included within the acts of recognition to the artist that the island corporation is going to carry out.
The sculptural piece, made of cast bronze, will be about 3.45 meters high and will be located on the maritime avenue of Arrecife, in front of the Casa de Los Arroyo, as reported by the Cabildo through a statement.
The Minister of Education and Culture, Francisco Cabrera, supervised the works last Thursday accompanied by several technicians from the island corporation.
