The City Council of Tinajo and Teguise are still awaiting the appeals they have filed against the demarcation that the General Directorate of Coasts has established in both municipalities. The mayor of Tinajo, Jesús Machín, has explained that the town has been waiting for "years, since the last elections" for a response from Coasts that solves the problem that exists in Tenésara, with between 22 and 30 homes affected by this demarcation.

Machín recalled that the Consistory won the first appeal it filed against the first demarcation, but is now awaiting the Justice to resolve the complaint for the second.

For its part, the City Council of Teguise unanimously rejected in May the demarcation proposed by Coasts for Famara and Soo and filed a contentious-administrative appeal in September against this decision, which has not yet been resolved.

This demarcation affects the section of the coast between "Los Dises and Caleta de La Villa", which measures more than 16,000 square meters and could affect 200 residents.
