Tías Town Council has invested a total of 53,782.48 euros in the refurbishment and acquisition of material for the municipality's sports facilities. With these interventions, carried out with own funds, the infrastructures of the outdoor court of the municipal sports centre and the Tías football pitch are improved.
The outdoor court of the municipal sports centre has been improved with a treatment of the surface of the current base of the court, which has cost a total of 16,038.02 euros. To this amount, 10,804.30 euros were added for the supply and installation service of the metallic fencing of the court.
In addition, the expenditure of 14,084.89 euros was approved for the acquisition of handball and futsal goals and basketball hoops in order to partially update the outdoor sports equipment, as the existing ones were significantly deteriorated.
At the Francisco Bermúdez Hernández “Pancho” football pitch, 9,604.97 euros were invested in the preparation, cleaning and sanding of the iron structure of the facilities' visor, which was very deteriorated. Likewise, 3,250.30 euros were invested in the supply and channelling necessary for the PA system of the football pitch.
