The Cabildo of Lanzarote has made public the 38 streets where the most breakdowns in the water supply occurred between January and May 10 of this year. These roads will be part of the "immediate" shock plan that the Cabildo of Lanzarote plans to renovate the network in a total of 38 streets.

In order of greatest to least number of registered breakdowns are Tías, Teguise, Yaiza, San Bartolomé, Haría, Arrecife and Tinajo.

The municipality of Tías has registered a total of 530 breakdowns in just six streets. This is revealed by the data provided by the Cabildo of Lanzarote, through the Water Consortium.

In particular, they are distributed in the towns of Mácher, Conil and Tías. In the case of Mácher, 312 incidents were collected, distributed in the Barranco por la Vegueta, the street between Puerto del Carmen and Mácher, as well as the Camino el Pozo.

In this line and without leaving the municipality of Tías, the street that connects Conil and Masdache, concentrates 79 incidents. While in the town of Tías is the Las Truchas ravine and the Puerto road.

400 breakdowns in six streets in Teguise

On the other hand, the municipality of Teguise has registered nearly 400 breakdowns in the six most affected streets in four months and ten days. The Las Cabreras scattered settlement reaches 112 notifications, followed by the San Juan Evangelista street in Soo, with 71 breakdowns registered; the Los Zarapicos street in the town of Nazaret; with 64 breakages between January and May; as well as the Guanarteme street in Tiagua, with 61.

Also, in the town of Tahíche a total of 91 breakdowns have been registered distributed between the Garcilaso de la Vega and Emiliano Zapata streets.

More than 360 breakages in six streets in Yaiza

Yaiza has assumed a total of 369 breakdowns between six streets. In this case they are distributed in different population centers. In the Valle de La Degollada 114 have been reported; followed by the La Gomera street in the tourist town of Playa Blanca, with 77; the Avenida del Rubicón in Femés, with 45; El Hacha Grande street in Maciot, with 45. While the El Morro street, with 44 breakdowns; General Femes- Las Casitas, with 44.

Almost 300 incidents in San Bartolomé

The municipality of San Bartolomé has suffered 296 breakdowns in five streets. The data, collected between January 1 and May 10, place these more frequent breakdowns between San Bartolomé, Güíme and Montaña Blanca.

The affected streets in San Bartolomé are: the Arrecife street, with 79 breakdowns; the Miramar street in Güíme, with 59; the César Manrique street that has 56; and in Montaña Blanca, in the El Arroyo street that has suffered 53 breakdowns; and Las Rosas street, which registered 49.

Arrecife, Haría and Tinajo

In the first five months of the year, five streets of Arrecife have suffered 167 breakdowns. These streets are: the Los Mármoles road, Campoamor, Sabin Berthelot, Vizcaya and Malagueña.

To these are added those of Haría, where 183 breakdowns have been registered. The most affected area is the scattered settlement of Ye, with 49; El Chafariz in Tabayesco, with 42; El Rincón in Guinate, with 35; Temisa in Tabayesco, with 29 and Alpirio Curbelo (Nicolás, El de Las Guaguas) in Máguez, with 28 breakdowns.

To conclude, the streets with the most breakdowns in the municipality of Tinajo concentrated 135 breakdowns in this period of time. Three of them are located in the center of Tinajo and two in La Vegueta. The streets La Laja del Sol, Las Herrentas and Las Vegas suffered 83 breakdowns. While the Yuco and Las Quemadas streets assume 52.
