The Level-2 team of the Military Emergency Unit (UME) was in charge this Monday of disinfecting the Doctor Guzmán-Las Cabreras Residence, where a member of the health team tested positive for coronavirus. Around 5:00 p.m., the members of this special unit moved to the building to carry out the disinfection work.

This unit is equipped with nebulizing equipment, capable of providing much more powerful disinfection than conventional equipment, something that is vital when people with special vulnerability to coronavirus will be staying in that environment again.

According to the Cabildo, it is expected that from this Tuesday the elderly who reside in the center, and who were evacuated on Saturday to the Izaro hotel in Puerto del Carmen, will be able to return to the residence.
