The Popular Party of Yaiza regrets that "sewage spills have once again become the protagonists of the news these days in the municipality after the new closure of the town's beach of Playa Blanca, which has been sealed off for bathing since last Sunday."
The populars criticize that once again the beach registers spills and is closed in the month of August, when precisely there is more influx of tourists, and that in addition the incidence is maintained for several days.
Taking these circumstances into account, the PP ranks highlight the silence and lack of information provided by Mayor Óscar Noda and the government as a whole, who have not even made public reference to the matter, nor have they communicated to the residents the situation in which the beach is located and the forecasts regarding its opening.
In this sense, they regret the lightness with which the municipal government is managing this problem that, despite its seriousness, seems that Oscar Noda has come to normalize because he is more concerned about his island projection than about the issues that have to do with the municipality of Yaiza itself and the problems that affect its residents.
