The Town Council of Tías has conditioned and put into operation a public parking in the land of the old “Escuela de doña Concha”, next to the current Center of Childhood and Primary Education (CEIP) Concepción Rodríguez Artiles of Puerto del Carmen.
The mayor of Tías, José Juan Cruz, the deputy mayor, Nicolás Saavedra, and the councilman of Urbanism, Ulpiano Calero, visited this Monday the area to verify the state of the space, that has capacity for 45 places of vehicles and is qualified as “municipal parking of public use with provisional character”.
The new public parking is free and can be used from 7 a.m. to 12 a.m. "It is not only very useful for families with boys and girls in the school of Puerto del Carmen, but also for the residents of the area or visitors of the establishments of commerce and restoration", stand out from the group of government, formed by PSOE, Lanzarote Avanza (LAVA) and Lanzarote en Pie-Sí Podemos,
