The works council appeared at a press conference to warn of mismanagement and to make public the requests they have made to the Minister of Tourism Centers, Carlos Espino. They claim that they have requested a crisis cabinet, an austerity plan and forecasts of expenses and income and that they have not been listened to.

The workers believe that Espino has "kidnapped" the economic data of the entity and that a decrease in income has begun to occur compared to other years. According to them, they presented a savings proposal that has not been taken into account, consisting of carrying out some tasks that are now outsourced, among other actions.

According to Pablo Trujillo, member of the works council, "there is no correct management of spending since the treasury is being abused." According to the committee, "the counselor has been playing with us, keeping us entertained" with other matters and hiding the economic data.

The committee pointed out that when the managing director was dismissed, they did not mind because he had been "politically infected", but they demand that another manager be appointed as promised. For eight months, the economic director has also been acting as manager and they consider that these are two tasks that cannot be performed by the same person.
