The Tinajo City Council will allocate 154,064 euros per year to the salaries of the mayor, two councilors and two external advisors of the Corporation, according to what was published this Monday in the Official Gazette of the province of Las Palmas.
The mayor, Jesús Machín (CC), will receive 51,160 euros gross per year, which will amount to 36,400 net. For his part, the councilor Antonio Jesús Morales, who will be in charge of the areas of Security and Emergencies, Civil Protection, Police, Personnel, Traffic, Sports, Industry, Commerce and Consumption, will receive, for exclusive dedication, 36,092 euros gross.
The other released councilor will be part-time. This is Manuel Guillén, who will manage the areas of Environment, Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, Agricultural Market, Crafts, Cleaning and Parks and Gardens.
The two advisors will receive 25,257 euros gross. In a plenary session last July, these remunerations were decided, although they had not been made official until now.
The mayor increased his salary by about 800 euros per month compared to the previous legislature, and decided to hire advisors, a figure that did not exist in the Tinajo City Council, which has 5,600 inhabitants and an annual budget of about seven million euros.
