Through the signing of the agreement, the Tías City Council and the Ministry of the Environment and Territorial Planning agree to provide the technical and economic assistance necessary for the modernization of the Municipal Technical Office, both in material resources and with respect to the implementation of appropriate systems for the provision of public functions of execution of urban planning, as well as training and advisory processes for the personnel providing services therein.
The Ministry is responsible for the definition of the specific needs detected in the Office as well as, by mutual agreement with the City Council, the temporal programming of the actions necessary to achieve the aforementioned objective. In addition, the parties will provide the necessary information and documentation for the performance of the work, creating a Technical Coordination Commission, composed of technicians designated by each of the parties.
