The president of the Cabildo, María Dolores Corujo, has reported on the start of the disinfection program brought forward today that will be carried out by the Security and Emergency Consortium in collaboration with the Civil Protection services of the different municipalities, the Red Cross, Emerlan and Voluntis.
In compliance with the aforementioned disinfection program, the Consortium firefighters began this Friday with the disinfection of the External Consultation Service of the Doctor Molina Orosa Hospital, the Insular Hospital, the health centers of Tinajo and Playa Blanca, the Costa Teguise and Tahíche clinics and the Port of Playa Blanca.

A team from the Military Emergency Unit will join this disinfection program and will arrive on the island this Saturday, with the president scheduled to receive the commanders at the Cabildo first thing in the morning.
“We are going to use all available resources to guarantee the disinfection of public spaces with the highest risk of transmission. It is time to redouble our efforts and prevent the contagion curve from continuing to rise.”
