The Security and Emergency Consortium honors its staff "for their work and daily dedication"

Members of the fire department and employees of the entity were honored during the celebration of the patron saint of firefighters, which took place this Friday, March 8.

The Lanzarote Security, Emergency, Rescue, Prevention and Fire Extinction Consortium celebrated this Friday, March 8, the festivity of San Juan de Dios, patron saint of firefighters, at the new Uga Fire Station. At the event, which was attended by public authorities and heads of different security forces, the president of the Consortium, Juan Manuel Sosa, pointed out that "this year we wanted to highlight the work of dedication carried out by all firefighters, staff and collaborators, because it is a profession of solidarity, in which they are always involved and give the best of themselves"

From the fire department, the following were honored this year: Jaime Guerra Morales, Andrés Pérez Dorta, Teodosio Cabrera Delgado, Francisco Acosta Cedrés, Luís Perdomo Morales, Luís Álvarez León, Juan Reguera Díaz, Bienvenido Cáceres Reyes, Carlos Fránquiz Calero, Raúl Rodríguez Leín, Fernando Molina Betancort, Domingo Crespo Rodrígez, Alexis Corujo Brriel, José Luis Martín Aguiar, Carlos Cordero Rodríguez, Chedey Tanausú Rodríguez Quintero, Esteban Perdomo Barreto, Claudio Luís Cabrera González and Daniel Aberasturi Martín. 

The work of the firefighters, Néstor Crespo Rodríguez, Aarón Rodríguez Márquez, Acaymo Rodríguez Quintero, Dennis Manuel Reguilón Álvarez, Cristóbal Jesús Gil Martín, Alejandro Melián Brito, Oliverio Torres Fajardo, Santiago Montesdeoca Jiménes, Alfonso Morillo Castro, Tirso Medina Ramos, Juan Ramos Rosales, Rubén Tomás Guerra Rodríguez, Chedey Rodríguez Martín, Robtero Iván Betancort Corujo, Yone Echedey Martín Fernández, Rubén Callero Brito, José Manuel Vázuez Bueno, Jorge Santana Armas, Jesús Manuel Mateo Cabrera, Roberto Mira García, Torbjorn Stoen Puente, Francisco Perdomo Coll, Néstor Cabrera Villalba, Eduardo Daría Yann González e Chaves, Brito Morales and Juan Antonio Rmero Rodríguez was also recognized. 

 

Recognition of Consortium staff


From the members of the Consortium staff, the following were honored: Eider Lievano Espinel, Isaac Llamas González, Diego Fernández Raboso, José Luis Falcón Rivero, José Miguel Martin Rodríguez, Jesús Barrios Guillén, Modesto Melgarejo Hernández, Fátima Concepción Rodríguez, Jéssica María Gómez Álvarez, Joana Navarro Pérez, Leticia Hernández Méndez, Sara Isabel Rodríguez Galván, Juan Carlos Martínez Lemes, Sonia Viñoly Méndez and Guillermo Lasso Hernández. 

Likewise, the Consortium also showed its recognition "for its invaluable and selfless contribution to the development of the entity's activities" to Manuel Spínola Perdomo, Nicolás González, Benjamín Nieves Delgado, Celestino Pérez Hernández, and Rosario García Valenciano, in addition to the treasurer, auditor and secretary of the Consortium, Nuria Cabrera Curbelo, Hernán Lorenzo Hormiga and José Juan Hernández Duchemin. 


Decorated for their intervention in a fire 


Finally, as recognition in the line of duty, the guard team of November 9, 2018 was decorated for their assistance and intervention in a fire, which was formed by Fátima Concepción Rodríguez, Chedey Rodríguez Martín, Teodosio Cabrera Delgado, Esteban Perdomo Barreto, Yone Echedey Martin Fernández and Andrés Pérez Dorta.

During the celebration, the importance of the family was also highlighted, who are the "guests of honor" at the event on Firefighter's Day. "Because these troops work saving lives, but they risk their own to achieve it, and the family also suffers this harshness of the work," it was pointed out.
