The socialists of Tinajo denounce that the City Council organized, on January 6, a children's activity in the Municipal Sports Hall, "whose works have not yet been completed and therefore lacks an opening license and basic security measures." The PSOE will ask in the next plenary session about this decision.

According to the socialist group of Tinajo, "the mayor was warned of the imprudence of summoning children and their families to a Christmas party in a facility with unprotected stands, without an emergency and evacuation plan or alternative exits to the small access door to the premises".

However, the socialists denounce, "Jesús Machín's determination to make a kind of inauguration of the sports hall, led him to endanger the safety of the neighbors attending the event".

The PSOE of Tinajo recalls how months ago the mayor showed off his driving skills, aboard a racing vehicle, in the schoolyard, which generated numerous complaints from parents of students. "The populist and spectacle policy to which Machín has accustomed us does not stop even when it comes to preserving the safety of his neighbors," criticize the socialists of Tinajo.

"Apart from the insecurity and irregularity of using an infrastructure under construction, many attendees at the event have shown their discomfort because, after queuing for a long time to access the premises, they found that family and friends of the members of the government group were already inside, occupying the first rows of seats in front of the stage," they conclude.
