The PP of Tías has stated that it hopes that the rehabilitation work of the Agrupación Los Gofiones de Puerto del Carmen Promenade "complies with the project", which it claims is from the stage in which the populars were governing with CC in the municipality.
In this sense, the Popular Party Group in the Tías City Council affirms that it is verifying "how many of the projects that are being executed or have been executed in these months still respond to initiatives of the PP government in Tías and not to projects of the current PSOE-Lava-Podemos government group".
Regarding the work of Los Gofiones, he explains that in the description of it, which was awarded for 117,817.72 euros, it was contemplated to provide the street with a safe and accessible pavement for pedestrians who use it, with special emphasis on the elimination of architectural barriers, applying current accessibility regulations. However, the party states that residents of the place have sent the PP councilors "the fear that the expected ramp will not be made on both sides of the street for wheelchairs."
According to the populars, the project also contemplates the demolition of the different existing steps and walls, the execution of stairs with double-height handrails on both sides of the staircase, a drainage network along the entire street, various pipelines, paving of the entire street and installation of lights, among other actions.
In short, "one more work that responds to the management of the PP in Tías and that, like others, will see the light in these months in the face of the deceleration of projects that Tías is experiencing with the tripartite of little movement PSOE-Lava-Podemos", concludes the party.
