The Popular Party of Yaiza criticizes that "the government of Óscar Noda has not been able to present financeable projects to the Next Generation call, thus renouncing the possibility of benefiting from European recovery funds."
The municipal councilor and candidate for Mayor, Juan Monzón, points out that they have "requested from the government of Óscar Noda the list of projects presented", but they have not responded, so "it is understood that they have not done their homework and that there are no municipal projects that will be financed with these funds."
For the PP of Yaiza, "the municipal government has the obligation and the responsibility to capture economic resources from under the stones", therefore, "it is a mistake and a failure in Noda's management to miss a unique opportunity and with it the possibility of obtaining extra financing for Yaiza."
Juan Monzón points out that, "the fact that the Yaiza City Council is not among the beneficiaries goes against the general interest of the residents and the municipality itself because, faced with the many shortcomings that exist, resources are always few and limited. It is a pity that it is the citizens who, once again, pay the consequences of the disagreements and internal squabbles in which the government group is immersed and which, obviously, are reflected in the municipal management," concludes Monzón.
