The Haría City Council, through the Department of Mobile Park, is renewing its mobile park with the acquisition of three new electric vehicles for the municipality. This action has an investment of 105,942 euros. It is integrated within the Consortium's strategy to reduce the carbon footprint and improve energy efficiency in the northern town.
The mayor Alfredo Villalba points out that "thanks to the acquisition of these vehicles, the sustainability of the municipality of Haría is guaranteed, reducing emissions and betting on green energies." In addition, he highlights that this action pursues the objectives of the European Union's 2030 Agenda.
For his part, the Councilor of the Mobile Park, Fernando Fontes, underlines the benefits of this initiative. "This incorporation not only allows us to take care of the environment, but also represents savings in maintenance and fuel costs for the City Council, being able to allocate it to other services," he adds.
With this acquisition, the Municipal Consortium "reaffirms its commitment to efficient mobility, sustainable development and the care of the natural environment of Haría".
