The Arrecife City Council has announced the call for tenders for the construction and installation of the canopy in the stands of the Arrecife Port soccer field, in the capital of Lanzarote. The mayor and head of the Department of Public Works, Yonathan de León, has detailed that with the execution of this work it will be possible to "offer shade and cover to all the fans who go every week to enjoy sports in these municipal sports facilities, which serves the neighborhoods of Altavista, El Lomo, Los Alonso and Valterra, in the center of the capital."
The work, with a base bidding budget of "331,400.26 euros", is financed from the Cabildo de Lanzarote's own funds. The vice president and councilor for Public Works, Jacobo Medina, recently visited the sports facility together with the mayor and the sports councilor, Eli Merino, and assured that this intervention "will resolve a historical demand from the capital's clubs."
During this visit, the capital's mayor has "congratulated" that during this term the "improvements" are being "promoted" in all the neighborhoods of Arrecife, where it is focusing on new sports equipment, and on the renovation of public spaces and streets.
The Councilor for Sports, Eli Merino, has announced that the Arrecife City Council, through the Department of Sports, currently has planned the execution of "new works to improve sports facilities" in the neighborhoods of Titerroy, San Francisco Javier, Las Salinas, Altavista, and Argana Alta.
Currently, this new tender for sports equipment in the capital of Lanzarote has been sent for inclusion in the Public Sector Procurement Platform.
