The Civil Guard has arrested in Lanzarote two Moroccans for their alleged involvement in the death of the young Expedita Santana, 35 years old, whose body was found in December in the sea, tied hand and foot on the north coast of Lanzarote. According to sources of the investigation, in principle one would be accused of being the material author, and another of concealment.
Apparently, the Civil Guard had been discreetly following one of the two detainees for some time, since it had indications of his possible relationship with the death of the girl.
The same sources point out that one of the detainees could be a young man who worked as a waiter in a restaurant in the north of the island, an area to which the detainees allegedly transferred the young woman. The arrests took place in the early hours of this Friday.
