The Civil Guard has arrested Susana Martín, daughter of Dimas Martín, at her home in Los Cocoteros, in Guatiza, as part of Operation "Jable". In addition to Martín's arrest, the arrest of Samuel Lemes, linked to Fontanería Lemes, a company subcontracted by Inalsa, has also been confirmed. Lemes appears several times in the summary of Operation "Unión".
The other businessman arrested, in this case in Arrecife, is José Vizcaíno, the owner of Pinturas Vizcaíno, linked to the Party of Independents of Lanzarote (PIL), founded by Dimas Martín.
To these arrests is added that of the former Minister of Employment and former Deputy Minister of Justice and Security, Francisco Rodríguez Batllori, at his home in Santa Brígida. Rodríguez Batllori also appears repeatedly in the summary of 'Operation Unión'. This week, Batllori released a letter in which he clarified that the steps taken as advisor to the Lanzarote water company, Inalsa, were legal and justified, so he denied that irregular charges could have occurred.
