The Art, Culture and Tourism Centers have published the bases of the call for sponsorship to non-profit entities in Lanzarote and individuals who develop Carnival projects. This initiative, announced a few days ago, will contribute to cover part of the expenses derived from participation in the festivities to those who are its great protagonists.

“It is part of our social responsibility and our commitment to the population of the island,” said the counselor of the Tourist Centers, Ángel Vázquez. “It is a grain of sand with which we want to collaborate with those who do so much to maintain a festival that is a tradition of Lanzarote and an ethnographic heritage of the archipelago.”

The president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Oswaldo Betancort, and the counselor of the Tourist Centers, Ángel Vázquez, have recalled that “those who accredit compliance with the requirements of the bases” may access these aids, worth 10,000 euros, which can be consulted in this link.

Applications can be registered at the Electronic Headquarters of the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers until February 29.
