The CEL and Nueva Canarias address the main business and social needs in Lanzarote

Representatives of both entities held a meeting to exchange their proposals for the next term

The Lanzarote Business Confederation (CEL) and representatives of the Nueva Canarias political party held a meeting this Monday, in which both organizations addressed the main business and social needs of the Island and the Archipelago, the confederation reports.

The meeting was attended by the president of the CEL, Francisco Martínez; the vice president, Rafael Morales; the general secretary, Beatriz Salazar, as well as other members of the integrated organizations, and the president of Nueva Canarias, Román Rodríguez; Óscar Noda; Yoné Caraballo, and Armando Santana, among others.

Representatives of both entities exchanged their proposals for the next term during the meeting. Francisco Martínez highlighted to Nueva Canarias "the need to strengthen the economic and social fabric of the Archipelago and especially of Lanzarote".

The president placed special emphasis on "strengthening the business fabric in the Islands and, in this way, consolidating employment figures that are constantly improving," the party reports.

For his part, Román Rodríguez, informed the CEL of "his main proposals focused on growth and support for the business sector, both regionally and insularly through the other representatives who attended the meeting," they confirm.

Likewise, Rodríguez recognized "the importance of the work of the Confederation and the organizations that defend small and medium-sized businesses in the Islands", who contribute in a "significant way to the economic recovery and in terms of employment that the Canary Islands are currently experiencing", they point out.
