The Cabildo reminds the people of Lanzarote that the term to apply for the 200 euros aid is open

Since February 15, the Government of Spain has enabled the term for families with low income and assets to apply for this benefit

The Cabildo de Lanzarote reminds the island's population that they can now apply for the 200 euros aid enabled by the Government of Spain for people with low income and assets.

Since February 15, all workers, whether employed or unemployed, whose income does not exceed 27,000 euros gross per year and with a family assets of less than 75,000 euros, can apply for this benefit.

The president of the Cabildo, María Dolores Corujo, highlights that this check is a measure applied by the central government to alleviate the effects of the current crisis and the increase in prices, in such a way that the most vulnerable people obtain help for their primary needs.

The deadline to apply for the subsidy is March 31, 2023. Applications must be carried out through the Tax Agency, both electronically and in person.
