The Cabildo of Lanzarote observed this Tuesday, at 12 o'clock, a minute of silence as an act of rejection and condemnation for the murder of a woman that occurred in Gran Canaria this Monday. The new victim of gender violence, 49 years old, leaves three minor orphaned children.
The institution reminds that "with this terrible murder, there are seven women who have died so far this year, due to gender violence, in the Canary Islands."
