The Arrecife City Council has published the definitive list of people who have successfully passed the entrance examinations for the Local Police of the municipality. The City Council already announced that 10 people had passed these tests, but the list had not yet been published.
In fact, the definitive list, according to the City Council's website, has not been published until this Tuesday, days after the Intersindical Canaria and CSIF unions denounced the "incomprehensible delay" in the taking of office as trainee officials by the candidates for the Arrecife Local Police and stated that they did not understand why the definitive list of successful candidates had not yet been published. A fact to which the Councilor for Police, Cristina Marrero, responded by stating that it was "a bureaucratic procedure", which has "some times", and that she hoped it would be published soon.
The entrance examinations to fill the 15 positions for local police officers in Arrecife began last April with a total of 308 applicants, of which only 10 finally passed the tests, leaving five positions vacant for the time being, although the Councilor for Police, Cristina Marrero, already announced in September that another 10 positions would be announced.
