Brisa Inversiones, owner of the La Bufona Urbanization, lacks land to cede to the City Council as a concept of the 10% of lucrative use contemplated by the law. An action that should have been carried out twenty years ago when the Partial Plan of La Bufona was executed. However, as of today, the City Council has not received that land cession, so it has made an economic valuation that the company will have to face. This Wednesday, the collection of this debt through executive channels was approved in plenary session.
The decision was made at the same time that the Compensation Project carried out by the company was rejected, which alleged in its report that it should only disburse the cost of the debt at the price of twenty years ago. On the other hand, the legal report of the City Council has resolved that the valuation be made at the current market price. In addition, the roads and public spaces of the urbanization will be registered in the Land Registry in the name of the Arrecife City Council, since this procedure had not been carried out until now.
The opposition has abstained in this agreement as it was approved urgently, because according to the PP councilor, María Dolores Luzardo "this type of issues that refer to an urbanization that is in the courts, should be given with time and not only with the simple technical report, but with all the documentation of the file".
As for the rest of the session, it has passed with tranquility. The absence of issues of greater relevance and of Citizen Alternative, which has not been able to attend due to incompatibility of schedules as the date of the Plenary has been changed, have made it pass with agility. On this issue, Pedro de Armas referred to it, in requests and questions, and asked the mayor to agree with the opposition on the change of date "to avoid this type of absences".
