The second day continued with the visit of the elders of Teguise, who participated in activities such as milking livestock and educational workshops. In addition, students from the municipality's schools joined. There were also gastronomic demonstrations and equestrian exhibitions, as well as presentations on agriculture and livestock, among others.

During the morning it was the turn of the students of the schools of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, who had the opportunity to take guided tours, tastings and exhibitions.

Sunday featured tastings of local products, family workshops and culinary demonstrations. Also, the expected horse race took place, which attracted thousands of people.

Likewise, Saborea Lanzarote had its own stand throughout the weekend, where they offered the public different activities and gastronomic tastings that added value to the products of Lanzarote, called Aula del Gusto and Aula del Queso.

The event came to an end with the workshop called 'The goat pulls to the mountain', the musical performance of Fran Naranja and an awards ceremony for the agricultural and livestock competitions.

Saborea Lanzarote present at the Fair

The Cabildo of Lanzarote, through the Area of Economic Promotion and under the Saborea Lanzarote label, has closed with a highly positive balance its participation in the IV Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Fair of Teguise, held from June 5 to 8 at the Agrotechnological Center of Teguise.

During the fair, thousands of people visited the Saborea Lanzarote spaces, thus consolidating its role as a reference showcase for local products and island gastronomy. The event has once again demonstrated the value of local commerce and the growing projection of the Saborea brand as a commercial and tourist attraction.

The president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Oswaldo Betancort, has stressed the joint effort of the professionals of the sector, assuring that "this fair has been a magnificent opportunity to make visible the best of our land and our people.
