The Teguise City Council continues to advance in the improvement of security services and in the expansion of the Local Police resources, after the incorporation of four new officers who have completed their academic training period.
The mayor, Olivia Duque, highlights that security is "a priority for Teguise and La Graciosa", which is why the City Council continues "taking steps to consolidate an essential service for the citizens, incorporating new personnel and working to adapt resources to the real needs of the municipality".
For his part, the councilor for Local Police and Civil Protection, Ginés González, affirms that "we continue working to provide the Local Police with more resources and tools, combining the progressive incorporation of new personnel with a clear commitment to continuous training and preparation of the force".
The incorporation of these four new officers will allow for an increase in police presence in the different towns of the municipality, improve response capacity, and continue to offer a closer and more effective service to residents.
The officers of the Teguise Local Police will also continue with their specialized training and shooting practice, an instruction that is part of the force's continuous update plan with the aim of improving the service's operational capacity and response.
Likewise, the Teguise City Council continues to advance in different procedures aimed at the progressive improvement of the staff. Among them, the incorporation of a new officer through a transfer competition is already underway, in addition to other actions aimed at continuing to expand the human resources of the force.
