The maintenance and conservation of the towns continues to be a premise for the Teguise City Council, which continues to attend to the demands that the residents send to the council through telematic means in terms of preservation and good condition of the streets.
The mayor, Oswaldo Betancort, and the Councilor for Works, Eugenio Robayna, verified in situ the actions that are being carried out in the town of Tahiche, which include improvements in paving, lighting, relocation of containers; also attending to a Traffic Plan to improve circulation through the streets of the municipality and promote coexistence between road traffic and pedestrians.
“Despite the very complicated health and economic circumstances we are experiencing, Teguise will not stop addressing those claims that the residents previously transmitted to us in face-to-face meetings and that they continue to do so electronically,” says Betancort.

“The online channels remain open to address not only the social and employment emergency in Teguise, which is now the priority of the institution, but also the most everyday problems in each house, sidewalk, street or public square, for which there is the 24-hour Immediate Intervention Operation available, coordinated by Eugenio Robayna, who can be contacted at 689 64 75 69, and of course, the doors of the mayor's office remain open and we will attend to any matter on the phone 928 84 50 01 (ext 241 or 227) or in the email alcalde@teguise.es", Betancort said.
For his part, the Councilor for Works states that “in addition to these actions that are being carried out in the town of Tahiche, different teams of workers have already been deployed in various payments of the municipality to satisfy the demands of the residents, while highlighting the friendliest side of our towns,” said Robayna.
