The mayor of San Bartolomé, Marcial Martín, received this Tuesday about 80 students from the sixth grade of the Ajei Infant and Primary Education School (Ceip) Ajei who, accompanied by the director of the center, Candelaria Ledesma, toured the Town Hall. Within the framework of the subject of Education for Citizenship, the students requested a visit to the Town Hall to convey their doubts, concerns and even complaints to the mayor and councilors, as reported by the Town Hall in a statement.

Marcial Martín, accompanied by the government team, explained to the students the functional organization chart of the Town Hall and the functions of the mayor and councilors, as well as the constitution of the corporation and projects being worked on.

In the same way, the politicians listened to the questions and suggestions of the young people and explained to the students the projects being worked on and the main lines of action of the Town Hall, which are based on youth, sports, education, culture and infrastructure.

In this sense, the students focused their questions on issues such as works in the educational center, new sports courts, traffic issues in the town, improvements in lighting, the possibility of having wi-fi in the parks and gardens of the town, the naming of streets or the location of solar panels in public buildings.
