Pedro San Ginés (CC) and David de la Hoz (CC) have once again summoned the media to a press conference to reiterate their position against the release of councilor Juan Manuel Sosa. San Ginés has "demanded" that the island president, Mª Dolores Corujo, "assume the position of her legal services and that the Cabildo send the hidden reports to the Court, after being charged with embezzlement of funds to pay a defector." From CC they consider that they are "funds, embezzled and fraudulently collected by Juan Manuel Sosa with the complicity of the socialist leader to stay in power, which would amount to approximately 200,000 euros, allowances and commissions from the Cabildo of Lanzarote apart."
After learning the content of the press conference, sources close to Councilor Sosa have indicated to this editorial team that "they have not received any notification of the lawsuit that De la Hoz and San Ginés have filed against him and other public officials." These sources have also recalled that "San Ginés will soon be prosecuted for filing false complaints and giving false testimony in court, insisting that the councilor's rights are guaranteed and protected in two firm judicial resolutions of the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands and of the Contentious Court that have annulled his expulsion from the political group."

Pedro San Ginés has provided an order from the Court of Instruction Nº1 of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria of the lawsuit filed against Dolores Corujo, Juan Manuel Sosa and two general directors of Public Function of the Government of the Canary Islands. However, the order does not include any accusation of any person, nor does it agree to summon any of the people against whom the lawsuit has been filed, but merely raises a question of competence to the Prosecutor to clarify which court would be responsible for resolving the matter.
Finally, San Ginés and De la Hoz have once again provided arguments and documents that they have explained in other appearances and press releases on this matter, reiterating the same arguments that he has made against Sosa, considering him a "defector" despite the fact that both the TSJ and the Court have suspended his expulsion in firm resolutions with the support of the Public Prosecutor's Office.
