The San Bartolomé City Council acquires various sports equipment for municipal facilities, through aid from the Cabildo de Lanzarote of 52,000 euros.
The team includes a digital scoreboard for the Wrestling Arena and an outdoor mini-scoreboard, anti-vandal goals, nets of various kinds (handball, volleyball, and paddle tennis) and goals for 11-a-side football, 8-a-side football, and beach soccer, as well as rubber flooring for outdoor gyms, tatami mats for martial arts, and specific sports equipment for crossfit practice.
“This equipment will be installed in the various sports facilities in the municipality, with the aim of complementing and improving them. We continue to bet on the development of infrastructure and on promoting a healthy lifestyle among our residents,” stated the mayor, Isidro Pérez, and the councilor for Sports, Alexis Hernández.
In this way, the San Bartolomé City Council continues to bet on sport and the quality of life of its citizens, equipping municipal facilities with modern and safe resources that promote the practice of different sports specialties for all ages through this subsidy, which complements the commitment with its own funds from the Council throughout the entire fiscal year with constant maintenance and subsidies for entities and athletes.
