The airline Ryanair has solved its "technical problem" on the website and it is now possible to buy a plane ticket with a resident discount again. At 1:00 p.m. this Monday, this option did not even appear on the Ryanair website, which hours later has already solved the problem. A reader had pointed out to La Voz that since May 23 he had been trying to buy a ticket, but this discount was not applied to him.
La Voz has contacted the company, which has indicated that for several days it had problems "in the system" of the website. They have even indicated that several people had already called alerting about this issue.
However, the company has not been able to specify when they would fix this problem so that residents of the Canary Islands could opt for this right, 50 percent discount on the plane ticket. However, hours after the call from this media outlet, La Voz has verified that the Ryanair website does contemplate this possibility again.
