The Cabildo de Lanzarote, through the Public Works area directed by Jacobo Medina, has initiated the "procedures to recover the restoration project of the LZ-58", the road that connects Masdache and La Vegueta.
“We are facing one of the most deteriorated roads on the island, with asphalt in very poor condition that poses a danger to both vehicles and residents of the area”, explains Jacobo Medina.
The Public Works area has already finalized "the drafting of the restoration project for section 1 of this road, and it is expected to be put out to tender in the coming weeks." In addition, "the project for the remaining phases is being drafted, so that the entire road can be rehabilitated as soon as possible," reports the Island Government.
“This road is undoubtedly one of those marked in red on our agenda, and thanks to the speed with which we have worked since we came to the government, the road will soon be resurfaced”, adds Medina.
