PSOE and Podemos seal in Tías a government pact "progressive and social" focused on "the well-being of citizens." The signing of the pact was held this Thursday, June 15, at the Los Lirios cultural center.
"The municipal government pact of Tías between the PSOE and Unidas Sí Podemos is a firm and sincere commitment to the citizens," thus begins the pact document for governability led by the leaders of the two parties, José Juan Cruz and Nicolás Saavedra.
"A social contract against inequality and exclusion and in favor of common progress, without anyone being left behind." A document that publicly expresses "the values, principles, and ideas that identify us and that guide our policies and actions throughout these four years of legislature 2023-2027.”
Both will govern in majority with the ten councilors of the PSOE and one councilor of Unidas Sí Podemos. The socialist leader, José Juan Cruz Saavedra, will be supported as mayor in the investiture plenary session of the Tías City Council by the councilor of Unidas Sí Podemos, Nicolás Saavedra.
"The government's priority will continue to be close attention to the residents with a direct line of work to solve problems related to the community and coexistence marked by solidarity, sustainability, social, healthy, and inclusive actions," they both declare in the document.

It is structured in several sections that include measures to be implemented in the coming years.
