The councilor of Lanzarote en Pie - Sí Podemos in Yaiza, Ramiro Muñoz, has denounced the "crowds" that he claims are occurring at the entrance of the Playa Blanca school and has criticized "the reduction of personnel from both the Local Police and members of Civil Protection in these first days of the children's classes" with respect to the opening day.
In a statement, the party recalls that the CEIP Playa Blanca hosts "a total of 36 groups distributed in 11 children's groups and 25 primary groups, with their normal schedule." For this reason, Muñoz considers that “two local agents and four members of civil protection are insufficient, taking into account that 6 entry/exit accesses to the school have been enabled.”

"In addition, we were able to verify that the action of the agents consisted of regulating traffic in the pedestrian crossings at the entrance to the school, while the members of civil protection supervised the situation at the time," adds the mayor.
From Lanzarote en Pie, they emphasize that on the day the new school year began, September 16, "when the primary school children accessed the center under the supervision of the
mayor, the deputy mayor, the councilor for Education and the councilor for Sports, the endowments were double that of a day like today, Monday, September 21, both in terms of Local Police and Civil Protection personnel."

However, the formation also specifies that "although some crowds were seen, both the students and the parents mostly acted responsibly, maintaining a safe distance and making appropriate use of the mandatory masks."
In any case, from Lanzarote en Píe-Sí Podemos they consider that it is "negligence on the part of the Government group to reduce the number of Local Police and Civil Protection personnel, taking into account the incorporation of all the students into the educational center."
