The Government Delegate in the Canary Islands, Anselmo Pestana, announced this Wednesday that the teams of the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and the Canary Islands Executive are "closing" institutional meetings on the occasion of his vacation on the island of Lanzarote.
This was indicated by Pestana when questioned, in a press conference, if during Pedro Sánchez's vacation days in Lanzarote any type of meeting with representatives of the Government of the Canary Islands or the Canary Islands president himself, Ángel Víctor Torres, is planned. "They are closing institutional meetings with the Government of the Canary Islands," he said.
In any case, he considered it "good news" that the President of the Government chooses the Canary Islands for his days of rest, since "it also helps to reflect that it is a safe territory and that projects a positive image" of the archipelago.
