Unidos Por Yaiza (UPY) has achieved an absolute majority in these elections on 28 M. In this way, with all the votes counted, Óscar Noda repeats his mandate, where he reaches nine councilors in the municipality, achieving one more than he obtained after the elections held in 2019.
On the other hand, Coalición Canaria is established as the second power in Yaiza with three councilors obtained, however, it loses one councilor compared to the past elections, while the Partido Popular and Yaiza Siempre (YAS) are both placed in third position with two councilors each and the Partido Socialista has one.
On the other hand, Lanzarote En Pie, VOX and Unidas Sí Podemos have not managed to obtain representation in the southern municipality.
The leader, who will serve his second term, was satisfied and proud of the results obtained before the microphones of Radio Lanzarote - Onda Cero, remarking that "the citizens have spoken". In addition, he also wanted to highlight that it has been a "hard campaign", where he added that "there have been details that distort the political class".
Finally, he concluded by thanking "from the heart" all his voters, of whom he points out that there have been more than 2,000 people in total.
