This association brings together the chiefs and commanders of Local Police in Spain and recognizes the trajectory, actions, and good practices developed by officials belonging to the Police Services in the municipalities of Spain.
The mayor of Arrecife, Yonathan de León, "is pleased with this recognition of officer Marcos Antonio Rosario Galindo, of the Arrecife Local Police force, and congratulates him on behalf of the City Council." For the mayor, directly responsible for the Local Police, this recognition of the supervisor of the Drone Unit also "endorses the great capacity and professionalism of this unit of the Local Police in the capital of Lanzarote, which has carried out anti-drug operations and monitoring of the recent floods, among other important devices."
The Drone Unit of the Local Police of Arrecife is among the best in the Canary Islands where they carry out deployments in mass events or monitoring in flood situations, such as those recently recorded in the capital of Lanzarote, which determined the need to channel the ravines north of Argana Alta, from the mountains of Zonzamas and Mina.
The Councilor for Security and Emergencies of Arrecife, Kevin Cortés, feels "proud of the recognition of Marcos Rosario", who in addition to being an officer of the Local Police is the technical coordinator of Civil Protection of Arrecife, a body attached to this Council.
Rosario Galindo has shared his extensive knowledge in risk prevention in cities with the use of drones in different conferences in seminars and congresses of Civil Protection at the national level.
Unijepol-Aeporse will present these medals at the institutional ceremony that will take place on June 5, at the I Congress of Police Aeronautics and Airspace Management to be held at the Science Museum of Valladolid.
