More than 70 people gathered in the Plaza San Roque de Tinajo to enjoy the activity "Tell me a cheese", an event in which local cheeses and beers were mixed, accompanied by oral narration, which was in charge of Isabel Cabrera.
From the Tinajero Consistory they point out that, given the high request from participants, "the activity was divided into two sessions of around 35 people each." The first session began at 11:30 a.m. and the second at 1 p.m.
"It is essential that we value the quality of the products made in our municipality," says the mayor of Tinajo, Jesús Machín. "Tinajo's gastronomy is of excellent quality and we want more and more people to have the opportunity to taste it, appreciate it and give it the place it deserves,” he adds.
"The people gathered there were able to taste three different cheeses and three beers, all of them mixed," they detail from the City Council. The cheeses were Filo del Cuchillo, La D'estila and Quesería Abuelo Machín, products that were combined with Jable, Rofe and Bermeja beers, from Cervecera Malpeis. Isabel Cabrera was accompanied at all times by Aminda García, who was doing the pairing.
The Councilor for Festivities, Jonatan Pérez, highlighted that "Tell me a cheese" has had "a spectacular reception in the Plaza San Roque."
